NKVTC trains high school students, adults and out-of-school youth to become gainfully employed.  In addition to formal classroom instruction, NKVTC works in cooperation to provide students with "live" and current on-the-job training through the community classroom concept.  NKVTC teachers/counselors assist the students in job placement.

At the end of each shcool year NKVTC graduates entering the labor force make an impact on the economies of Delano, McFarland, Wasco, Kern County and California.  Thousands of dollars will be returned to the local, state and federal governments through various taxes that more than offset the training cost.  NKVTC graduates start to return this investment soon after they become employed in the occupational field in which they were trained.
