Course Title:    AUTO TECHNOLOGY

                          10:00 - 12:00pm

     Auto Technology is designed to provide the students with the skills necessary to enter the automotive repair and maintenance industry.  Instruction includes: shop safety, use of repair manuals, use of special hand and power tools, automotive maintenance, electrical systems, brake repair, heating and air conditioning and job search skills.

     Auto Technology II is designed to provide advanced students the skills necessary to enter the automotive repair industry with a complete background in all automotive systems.  Instruction includes: engine overhauls, fuel systems, emission control systems, electronic engine testing, basic welding and repair cost estimating.

     Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to perform the repairs, overhauls, and maintenance on the automobiles by applying their knowledge of the repair servicing procedures using proper tools and equipment.  Also the student will receive a Certificate of Completion and an Achievement Record.
