Length of Course:  1 Year (540 hours)

Location of Course:  Delano Center and Wasco Center

Days of Attendance in Class: Monday - Friday

Time of Course:  6:45 - 10:00am (Delano and Wasco)

                          10:00 - 12:30pm (Delano)                         

     This course is open to both men and women who have a sincere interest in caring for the ill and convalescing.  Students study basic anatomy/physiology, human development, factors affecting health, basic nursing care, charting techniques, and the role of the health provider.  In clinical setting, students use skills in the care of patients in convalescent and/or acute hospital under the direct supervision of the instructor.

       The progran is an excellent foundation for those who wish to seek employment as a nursing assistant.  Students who wish to further their education towards L.V.N., or Psychiatric Technician will fine knowledge, skills and basic back ground in the health field career ladder.  Upon completion of the course the student is awarded a Certificate of Completion and an Achievement Record.
