Time Schedule:  10:00 - 12:00pm

      This course is designed for students who would like to develop the skills necessary to obtain an entry level position as a clinical medical assistant.  Students learn medical law and ethics, methods of sterilization, universal precautions, assisting the doctor in physical examination, and office procedures.  The student will learn how to perform an eletrocardiograph, vital signs, perform venipuncture, calculate drugs and dosages, and administer medicine under supervision.  Students will develop commnication and job skills.  Upon completion of the course the student is awarded a Certificate of Completion and an Achievement Record.
